What a playroom organization visit includes
Most playrooms aren't short on toys. They're short on a system. We bring the system, the hands and the bins, and we work through the room in one visit.
- Sort everything. Every toy, book, puzzle and art supply comes out and gets grouped by how your child actually plays.
- Edit with you. We set aside outgrown, broken and duplicate toys for donation, storage or a keepsake box. You make the final call.
- Give every category a home. Open bins for little ones, lidded bins for small parts, low shelves for daily favorites and higher shelves for things that need a grown-up.
- Label it. Picture labels for pre-readers and word labels for older kids, so clean-up doesn't depend on you.
- Set up a toy rotation. We store a portion of the toys out of sight and show you how to swap them every few weeks. Fewer toys out means longer, calmer play.
Playrooms, basements, closets and shared rooms
We organize dedicated playrooms, finished basements, toy closets, living-room play corners and bedrooms that double as play spaces. If siblings share a room, we create zones so each child has their own space.
Storage that looks as good as it works
We favor woven baskets, wood, linen and soft pastels over bright plastic, so the playroom fits the rest of your home. We'll recommend storage to fit your shelves and budget, and you can use what you already have wherever it works.
Serving Bethesda and nearby
We organize playrooms in Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Potomac, North Bethesda, Kensington, Rockville, Northwest DC and McLean.
